A detached house, formerly a farmhouse. It is thought to have been built in the early 18th century, and originally to have been a long-house with a byre at one end. Additions were made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The original part of the house has walls of cob covered in plaster and a thatched roof with a brick chimney stack.
