Summary
Earthwork remains of a medieval field system with strip lynchets situated to the southeast and southwest of Mapperton House. Field investigations in 1955 found the earthworks surviving to to a height of 2 metres.

Full Description
Lynchets form five groups of terraces in the S. of the parish.
A On a W. and S. slope S.E. of Mapperton House.
B On a S.W. slope 250 yards S. of 'A'.
C On a S. slope near the edge of the parish, 1/2 mile S.E. of church. <1>
B [Centred at SY 50669915] The boundaries were supplied by field survey.
B. Two grass covered parallel strip lynchets up to 2.0m high.
All lynchets being of Md. type. <2>
