Summary
A former manor house, now a hotel. The central block was built in the sixteenth century as a manor house, whilst the front elevation was added in the eighteenth century. In 1833 the hotel, which had been created by William Morton Pitt from the original manor house, was Visited by Queen (then Princess) Victoria - hence the name.
