Summary

A house built in the seventeenth century, with nineteenth-century extensions. Formerly the rectory, and later a private house used partly as a residential home. The older part of the building has walls of stone rubble and a stone slate roof with brick chimney stack, and the later extension are of similar materials, though a large later-nineteenth century extension has rock-faced ashlar walls, a slate roof and stone chimney stacks. Surviving original features of the interior are reported to include a large fireplace with bread oven. There is also a single-storey twentieth-century extension.
