Summary

A stable block situated to the south east of Lulworth Castle, and comprising a square yard enclosed by one-storey buildings with attics. The building is mostly of brick with a tiled roof and is dated 1777 but appears to contain older material, as stone rubble and 17th-century windows can be seen in the outer walls of the south and west ranges. The building was remodelled around 1900, with the addition of timber-framed gables and dormers.
