Summary

A house built in the early nineteenth century and remodelled around 1904. The architect was W D Caroe. The building is Edwardian Baroque in style with walls of Ham Stone ashlar, and hipped slate roofs. During World War II the building was requisitioned and used as a base for co-ordinating the anti-aircraft defence of east Dorset.
