Full Description

[SY 5110 9862] About 1953 and in about the spot indicated I found two Roman coins. They may have been washed downstream. Though the heads and some of the writing were discernible, I can't tell you which emperors they were nor where the coins are now. Mr BOWMENT-MORVAN indicated the site upon the 6" map. The area around and about the find site was perambulated. It is a narrow flood plain. There were no surface finds. <1>
