Summary
A World War Two anti-tank obstacle, reported by the owner of Newton Farm, to have been located under railway bridge. It was constructed in 1940-41 and consisted of iron rods. A field visit in 1997 found the site was no longer extant.

Anti-tank obstacle (DESTROYED), reported by present owner of Newton Farm to have been located under railway bridge. It is said to have been constructed of metal rods. <1-3>
