Full Description
1. A type 22 Pillbox located on the edge of the wood at peacock lodge, Frampton.
2. Standard brick and concrete construction.
3. Five Main loopholes with pistol port covering entrance.
4. Concrete roof 10" thick laid in horizontal bands. Top has bevelled edges to allow water to run-off.
5. Entrance porch with steps down.
6. Inside the pillbox is flooded to a depth of 12" and there is considerable ammounts of debris making entrance very dangerous!
7. Internal 'T' shaped blast wall.
8. Loopholes 15" wide externally widening to 28" internally. Bevelled concrete top edge inside.
