Summary
A Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1972 this monument was recorded as being around 51 feet in diameter with a mound about 4 feet high. The barrow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs.

Full Description
Four bowl barrows at wide intervals in W-E line along spine of ridge above 400ft contour at Osmington. (C) Bowl (75108258) 180 yds. E of (B). Diam. 51 ft., ht. 4 ft. Ploughed. <1> <3>
Barrows A,B and C are those Scheduled (see illust). <4>
SY 749826. Three barrows south of Poxwell Big Wood. Scheduled. <5>
'C' SY 75098257. Bowl barrow in pasture. Diameter 15.5m., height 1.0m. No visible ditch. Both of these barrows ('C') and ('D') appear to have been ploughed down. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <6>
The barrow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 2002 and 2009 <7-8>. The barrow is sub-circular in shape and measures approximately 10 m in diameter and is surrounded by a ditch measuring up to 1 m in width. This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
