Summary

A beaker burial was found by AC archaeology during works at Dorchester Middle School, Coburg Road, Dorchester in 1998. The crouched inhumation burial aged 15-25 years with head to NW and the body facing E, with the left leg raised higher than the right was found in an oval grave. The burial was in a poor condition. A Beaker pot was placed at the feet, to the east of the body.

Full Description

A beaker burial was found by AC archaeology during works at Dorchester Middle School, Coburg Road, Dorchester in 1998 (1) (2). The crouched inhumation burial aged 15-25 years with head to NW and the body facing E, with the left leg raised higher than the right was found in an oval grave. The burial was in a poor condition. A Beaker pot was placed at the feet, to the east of the body.
