Summary
The remains of a cobbled path was found in the east part of the excavations on the site of the new Dorset County Library, Colliton Park, Dorchester in 1961-63. This path was partly sealed by the walls of Building 1. It ran in a roughly N-S direction. It may relate to an earlier phase of activity on the site represented by the debris dumped in the early 2nd century AD pits to the west of the path.

The remains of a cobbled path were found in the east part of the excavations on the site of the new Dorset County Library, Colliton Park, Dorchester in 1961-63 (1) (2). This path was partly sealed by the walls of Building 1. It ran in a roughly N-S direction. It may relate to an earlier phase of activity on the site represented by the debris dumped in the early 2nd century AD pits to the west of the path.
