Full Description

Earthworks visible on aerial photographs. Interpreted as the probable remains of medieval settlement. (1) The possible shrunken village earthworks described above in (1) are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s. The earthworks consist of two areas of platforms, centred at SY 7706 8559 and SY 7703 8535, with hollow ways running between them. (2) These features were digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
