Full Description

The site of a mound towards the NE corner of the interior of Poundbury Camp was surveyed by 'N.J.A.' of the Ordnance Survey Archaeological Division on the 23 April 1981. His field notes are recorded on the OS record card as follows: A mound at SY68409114 within the hillfort appears to be modern (see ground photographs) [1].
