Summary
A bowl barrow reported in 1970 as being around 45 feet in diameter with a mound about three feet high. The barrow is crossed by a hedge, and the northern side of the mound has been much reduced by ploughing.

Full Description
"Some attempt to excavate this barrow has been made by the owner, Mrs. Batty, not long since. Nothing found but stones." <2>
A 'gutted' bowl barrow, diameter 16 paces, height 2 ft. <3>
A grass covered bowl barrow crossed by a hedge running east-west on its northern side. Diameter 16.0 metres, height 0.8 metres.This barrow has been dug in-to on its southern side revealing a flint content. There were no finds. <4>
SY 73569663. Bowl barrow, 45ft. diameter and 3ft. high on the crest of a hill and gentle east slope. the barrow is traversed by a hedge and the northern third of the mound has been ploughed away. Two additional barrows are shown (at SY 73629662 and SY 73719661), but not described on Celtic Fields (Group 45) map, the former is depicted on OS 6" 1903 and 1963 as a circular hollow feature. <5>
SY 73559662. Bowl barrow, diameter 16.0 metres, height 1.0 metres, in pasture but ploughed down. The half north of the hedge which crosses it, has been ploughed out. There is no visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. The other two features are two of four chalk pits, visible on the ground and on the OS air photographs. <6>
