Full Description
Between 1927 and 1939 Druitt was in close contact with gravel workings at Latch Farm, Christchurch. 96 handaxes were recorded by him in total. This record relates to 33 of them with no better provenance than 'Latch Farm' in general. Other finds were recorded as coming from, Lower Close, Higher close, Furzy, or Newman's Pit. (1-3)
They are nearly all in the Druitt collection, Red House Museum, Christchurch. (4)
