Medieval lynchets on Beauminster Down, Beaminster. A series of parallel lynchets (possibly strip lynchets or ridge and furrow) were digitally plotted from lidar imagery and aerial photographs during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
A small area of weak and intermittent strip lynchets is centred at ST 493037. They are approximately parallel and are grass covered. Air photographs <1> give an exaggerated impression; possibly the lynchets have been partly ploughed out since the photographs were taken. <2>
