Summary

A bowl barrow with a mound which is 12m in diameter and 0.5m high. Surrounding the mound is a quarry ditch which has become infilled over the years but survives as a buried feature 2m wide.

Full Description

A bowl-barrow, 2 1/2 feet high. <2> Heavily ploughed, it now appears as an irregular mound 2.5ft. high. <3> A ditchless bowl-barrow with a depression in its centre. Diameter 13 metres, height 0.7 metres. <4> A small bowl barrow reduced by ploughing to a low mound 12.0 m in diameter and 0.4 m high. There is now no trace of the central depression noted in the field report of 11.2.55. <4> Surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <5>
