Summary

A bowl barrow adjoining the parish boundary between Piddletrenthide and Cheselbourne. In 1970 this monument was reported as 26 feet in diameter with a mound about 2½ feet high, covered with trees and much damaged by rabbits.

Full Description

A barrow group centred ST 730023 (See Table). <2-4> G. ST 72950220. Bowl barrow 10.0m north-south by 8.0m east-west and up to 0.8m high. There is no visible ditch. Tree covered and mutilated by rabbit digging. Tumuli surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <5>
