Summary

‘Limekiln' in 1889 and 1901. Stone-walled shed with corrugated iron roof built against front on road side. Pot is filled at the top. Inside (seen in 1992) drawhole is at an angle to the draw arch. '1926' is carved on stone in wall to left of drawhole. The shed at the front has been converted to a workshop. Overall, in good condition.

Full Description

‘Limekiln' in 1889 and 1901 (1-2). Stone-walled shed with corrugated iron roof built against front on road side. Pot is filled at the top. Inside (seen in 1992) drawhole is at an angle to the draw arch. '1926' is carved on stone in wall to left of drawhole.(3) The shed at the front has been converted to a workshop. Overall, in good condition. Lime kiln is Listed Grade II (969-1/1/34 1984).
