Site of exchange sidings with Portland (Merchants') Railway, at end of Weymouth & Portland Railway established c1864. (1) Subsequent maps show the sidings with two cranes (1-4), but with just one crane in 1959. (5) Published photographs show the sidings in c1900 (6) and in January 1965. (7)
