Full Description

The soilmarks of part of a later prehistoric or Roman embanked coaxial field system on Hog Leaze which can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording programme. The remains are centred at SY 7404 9942, and can be seen extending as a slight soilmark in the adjacent field to the north. The earthwork and soilmark traces of several Bronze Age round barrows can be seen across the main field. <2>
