A polygonal concrete pillboxn is located at Convent Meadow as part of the Christchurch town defences. Faces SE (1). The pillbox is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1947. It appears to be a hexagonal Type 22 pillbox. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
