ex Ceuts, ex Elbe . This steamship was in the same convoy as the Cocquetdale when both ships were attacked by German Stuka dive bombers and sunk. Hit several times, four of the crew of the Ajax were killed. (1) Position 50 30.54 1 32.64W taken from (2)
