Summary
The Old Watch House was the original coastguard lookout before the new coastguard station was built in 1901. It became the Old-watch-house Café, which burnt down in 1970 and was replaced by the modern Old Watch House Café.

Full Description
The Old Watch House was the original coastguard lookout before the new coastguard station was built in 1901 (1). It was a rectangular building with extensions to the rear with a thatched roof. The Boat house was on the ground floor and the look-out room above, reached by an external staircase on the east side.
It became the Old-watch-house Café, which burnt down on 28 August 1970. It was demolished and replaced by the modern Old Watch House Café. (1).
