Vessel was attacked by gunfire from a German Sumbarine at 8.20 pm. Crew forced to abandon ship, the enemy then placed scuttling charges on board which caused her to sink at 8.45 pm. The same submarine was also seen to sink the sailing barge Ivo.(1) Gross tonnage
