Wreck shown on chart of 1785. Possibly a stone boat. A submerged feature is visible at this location on aerial photographs of Weymouth Bay. It is considered likely to be the remains of the aforementioned wreck.

Full Description
Wreck marked by entrance to Weymouth Harbour (1). Position taken from recent survey which located heap of stone on sea bed 368548, 079204. May be identicle with the Unidentified seabed obstruction 9 000 0837.
A submerged feature is visible at this location on aerial photographs of Weymouth Bay (2). It is considered likely to be the remains of the wreck described above. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
