Full Description

This can best be described as a barge. It sits level, rising up 1 m from a fine sandy sea bed at 32m. The strange feature of this vessel is a wooden deck, very unusual in this sort of craft. A heavy chain is fixed to an eye at one corner and runs back over the deck and off to the sea bed at one side. Years ago, the Navy had floating targets moored in this area. This may be one that stopped floating. Position 50 33.9N 2 38.06W taken from (1)
