Full Description

Two late Roman coins were found in 1967 "near the Milk Factory in Beaminster during sewerage operations". The coins were identified by the British Museum as belonging to the reigns of Maximian (AD286-305) and Constantine I (AD306-337) and are in the possession of Mr L Harris of Skilling, Bridport. <1>
