Bronze Age bowl barrow, part of a larger barrow cemetery extending along the South Dorset Ridgeway. In 1970 this monument was reported as being around 50 feet in diameter with a mound about 4 feet high. Visible as circular cropmark on aerial photographs

Full Description
Four round barrows: 'D'. Bowl (?) (63508665) 220 yds. East North East of 'C'. Oval flinty mound 39 ft by 20 ft and 2 ft high. <1> <3>
'D'. SY 63498664. Bowl barrow in arable, diameter 9.0m., height 0.4m. No visible ditch. Severely ploughed down. 'D' Surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <4>
Site of a Bronze Age barrow, one of a group of four barrows (MDO2046-7 & MDO3150-1) and part of a larger barrow cemetery extending along the Dorset Ridgeway. It is visible as circular cropmark on aerial photographs <7> measuring approximately 10 metres in diameter. This site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
