Summary
A Congregational Chapel. A tablet set into the north gable reads: 'founded 1689, rebuilt 1815, restored 1866, restored 1963'. Two cob cottages adjacent to the Queen's Arms Inn, were converted to a meeting-house in or b efore 1689 by John Brice, the first pastor of the church. The property was transferred to a trust for Presbyterians in 1716. The building has stone walls covered in render and asbestos slate roof with pedimented gable end to street.
