Summary

A single-span bridge carrying the road (C87) over the river at the eastern end of Charmouth. Built in 1824 and largely reconstructed in 1957, the bridge is of reinforced concrete and stone, with a parapet wall on the north side, and railings on the south. The parapets and spandrels are of Ham Hill Stone ashlar.
