Full Description
Work in the gardens of 2 Sherborne Lane revealed elements of an earlier house on the site, which were recorded by Lyme Regis Museum. In the front garden lias paving, part of one of the rooms of the earlier house was exposed. At the back of the present house, parts of lias walls were exposed, probably representing terracing and steps associated with the previous house. The current house was built in 1927 as the manse to the adjacent Baptist Chapel. (1)
