Monument record MDO2080 - Bowl barrow, Portesham

Summary
A probable Bronze Age bowl barrow, situated on a saddle on a ridge. It was discovered during Ordnance Survey field investigation in 1980, when it was recorded as a mound 6 metres in diameter and a maximum 40 centimetres high, with no visible evidence of a ditch.

Full Description
SY 61868750. Mound with gorse bush on top. Diameter 6.0m, height 0.4m. No visible evidence of a ditch. Probably a small bowl barrow. Discovered during field investigation. Surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <1>
