Full Description

A sub oval ditched enclosure, 24m across is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. It has two deliberate gaps in its circuit and may therefore the the site of a class II Neolithic henge. The site lies within a Bronze Age barrow group (MDO406, 407, 408, 410, 411) and 260m to the south-west of a Neolithic long barrow (MDO409). A small ring ditch which may be a hengi-form monument lies 12m to the north-east of this monument (MDO20919). {1}
