Summary

House refronted in early eighteenth century on an earlier core. Brick walls, on an ashlar stone plinth with a heavy wooden dentil cornice, walls painted pink. Slate roofs, with stone gable-coping at south end and a rebuilt stack at north end. Porch carried on Roman Doric stone columns, carved with raised shell and mask. Formerly The Bull Inn, The Old House has also been called The Inn.
