Summary
Bronze Age bowl barrow to the east of Eggardon Hillfort. In 1952 this monument was reported as being around 17 feet in diameter with a mound about 2½ feet high.

Full Description
A bowl barrow; diameter 9 paces, height 6 ins. <2>
One of a group of barrows which are grass covered, but on arable land, and have all been ploughed over in recent years. Barrow E: A poorly defined, grass covered but flinty bowl barrow, with no trace of a ditch; diameter 8 metres, height 0.1metres. <5>
A Bronze Age bowl barrow on Eggardon Hill, forming part of a barrow cemetery. The barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. <6>
