Summary
A lime kiln recorded as ‘Limekiln’ on the 1901 Ordnance Survey map, ‘old limekiln’ on the 1927 O/S map and ‘kiln’ on the 1:10,000 O/S map. The date of this kiln is not known. It was visited in 1992-3 by Peter Stanier and found to be in good condition with some 80-90% still standing.
