Summary

A mound opened by antiquarian Charles Warne, who found a possible primary cremation in LBA globular urn; seven secondaries (one with globular urn, three with bucket or barrel urns, and three with urns of unknown type.

Full Description

Warne's CTD no 8: probable primary cremation beneath large (probably inverted) urn (smashed) which contained accessory vessel three inches high in which were burnt bones, possibly of a child, mixed with ashes. (Grinsell)
