Site of a probable deserted medieval village visible as low earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs, situated along the north-east and south-west banks of the River Frome at Southover. Remains comprise of a series of banks, scarps, holloways and enclosures, as well as an associated field system, including strip field boundaries and ridge and furrow cultivation marks. {1-2}
