Summary
Earthworks of a medieval field system covering an area of 0.3 hectares. The field system comprises very regular strip fields with boundary closes. The banks between the fields average 6 metres in width and 0.4 metres in height. Their continuations to the northwest in the adjoining field are barely visible having been almost ploughed out. When first recorded this monument was thought possibly to be an area of medieval settlement.

Full Description
(Centred at SY 74308445). A series of small rectilinear enclosures created by low grass covered banks. Comparable to known deserted Medieval villages. It may represent an area of depopulation of Poxwell. <1>
Centred at SY 743844 and covering an area of approximately 0.3 ha. Are the remains of a very regular strip field system with boundary closes. The banks between the fields average 6.0m. In width and 0.4m. In height. Their continuations to the north-west in the adjoining field are barely visible having been almost ploughed out. (SY 78 SW 35). Not mentioned by RCHM. Area outlined on 1:10 560 Record Sheet. <2>
