Summary
A mound identified as a round barrow of Bronze Age date. In 1970 this barrow was reported as being 65 feet in diameter and 2 feet high.

Full Description
'C'. SY 70939522. A ditchless mound with a diameter of 22.0 metres and a height of 0.8 metres. Crossed by a north-south fence the eastern half is under crops and the western half under grass. A possible bowl barrow. In the vicinity of 'A' the field is slightly uneven and it is considered, that if the land had been ploughed sufficiently to eradicate a barrow there, uneven features would have been eradicated also. <3>
A' Not found: possibly authority 1, 'A' and 'B' are misplottings for 'B' and 'C'. 'C'. SY 70929521. ? Barrow, diameter 17.0 metres, height 0.3 metres, western half ploughed out. Neither of these possible barrows has a visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <6>
This barrow group was visited by the MPPA in 1999, and all three barrows are now levelled by ploughing. Not recommended for scheduling. ground photos with archive reports. <7>
