Full Description

`A' - SY 71009450 Bowl barrow, 18.0 m diameter and 2.0 m high with a flat top. <2> `A' - SY 71009449 Bowl barrow, 46 ft diameter and 6 ft high, thickly overgrown. <4> SY 710945-SY 718945. Three round barrows on Waterston Ridge, Puddletown. Scheduled. <5> `A' SY 71009449: Bowl barrow covered with an impenetrable mass of brambles and bushes. Diameter approximately 18.0m, height approximately 2.0m. No visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <6> A Bronze Age barrow is located at the West end of Waterston Ridge. It is one of three barrows, all of which are scheduled. It is visible as a low earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 2006. <7>
