Summary

A bowl barrow, one of a scattered group along a north-south ridge. In 1970 this monument was reported as being around 57 feet in diameter with a mound about 1½ feet high, and much ploughed.

Full Description

'A' - Bowl barrow, diameter 25 paces, height 3 ft. <1> A grass covered bowl barrow with no evidence of a ditch or excavation. Diameter 23.0 metres, height 1.2 metres. <3> 'A' - SY 74239745. Bowl barrow, much ploughed, 57 ft. diameter and 11/2ft. high on the west slope of a ridge. <4> "SY 742975. Round barrow west of Druce Higher Barn". Scheduled. <6> 'A' - SY 74239744. Bowl barrow in arable, ploughed down. Diameter approximately 20.0 metres, height 0.4 metres. No visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <7>
