Full Description
Four large bowl barrows, three located as above, and a fourth barrow ('D') at SY 75409738. <3>
Four grass covered bowl barrows are situated as above, except that (A) is at SY 75389736. They show no evidence of ditches or excavations, and range from 17 to 25 metres in diameter by 0.6 to 1.6 metres in height. 'C' is surmounted by a trig pillar. <4>
Three round barrows in line on Puddletown Down: (B) Bowl (75269745), 75 yds SE of (A) is much spread by ploughing. Diam 64ft ht 1ft. <6>

'B' SY 75269746. Bowl barrow, diameter 18.0m., approximately, height 0.4m. All the barrows are in arable and have been ploughed over; none has a visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <8>
