Summary
Human bones exposed during digging of the foundations for an extension to the museum. Two concentrations of bones were observed, and interpreted as probable graves.

Full Description
Two areas of human remains were exposed at a depth of 65cm, disturbed when the footings for an extension to Shaftesbury Museum were being dug in 1977, suggesting this may have once been a graveyard. (1)
