Summary

Former United Free Methodist chapel, dated 1839. Built in Flemish bond brickwork, with cream stone dressings, some of Portland ashlar, and a slate roof. Shown as Primitive methodist Chapel on Ordnance Survey map of 1864, then as Salvation Army Barracks on map of 1901.
