Summary
Seventeenth century lobby entrance house, with early nineteenth century alterations. Painted brick walls in the oldest of English bond, some of English Garden Wall bond, cambered arches to the ground floor openings and a tiled roof.

Full Description
Knoll Farmhouse superficially of around 1700 was extended and greatly altered in the 19th century. However, the plan, originally of two rooms with chimneystack dividing them, suggests a rather earlier building. <2>
