An allotment is shown at this location on the 1923-33 Ordnance Survey 25-inch map (1). This site is also visible on aerial photographs of Wike Regis taken in the 1940's (2-3). It was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). Recent aerial imagery shows that this area is still in use as allotments.
