A series of six small gravel pits are visible at this location as shallow earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs (2). Some of the features are under trees in 1946 and not visible (2).
The site is a school grounds on current Google Earth imagery and the features are no longer visible.They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
